Learning objectives
In the age of the internet, it is vital to understand and be able to handle web technologies, especially in the digital fields such as artificial intelligence and Big Data.
These technologies are tools that can be used to build and publish content on the Internet, for example, to showcase work or projects, or to make developed tools and algorithms accessible.
This teaching unit is an introduction to these technologies and aims to provide learners with the main learning keys.
Description of the programme
-
HTML :
HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is a markup language used to build the structure of Web pages, i.e. to set up the graphic elements and textual content. This language also allows navigation from page to page using hypertext links.
-
CSS:
CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) is a language used for formatting web pages. This language is used to refine the position of elements on the page, to manage different graphic effects such as margins, shadows, hovers and special positioning, and also to manage more technical aspects such as the modification of certain graphic styles depending on the device (responsivity).
In this lesson, students will be asked to create a website using these two technologies.
Generic central skills and knowledge targeted in the discipline
