General Culture

* Understand the major current debates (on ecology, transhumanism, anti-speciesism...) while building a solid culture (knowledge of major writings, essential authors, etc.)
* To develop one's ability to problematize and to argue.

The course will be structured around the following themes:
- Master and possessor...
- Human and nature
- Antispeciesism
- Transhumanism

* To link the social, political, economic, legal and cultural dimensions of contemporary phenomena.
* To develop critical thinking and the ability to argue.
* To know and understand the evolution of the contemporary world and the major issues that cross it.

The evaluation will take the form of a 2-hour test on the knowledge acquired during the course.
